This uninstaller not only completely removes programs, it also provides valuable information about all installed software – and it is fast! Moreover, the interface is elegant and easy to understand. I found it easier to follow Uberstaller over an alternative, very good, Revo Uninstaller.  The program’s auto-updater may be turned off in Preferences.  If your list of installed software is imposingly long, use the search filter field to find only those that reference one particular software.  Another handy menu tab is the Google lookup, which, depending on the information supplied by the publisher, directs a Google search to find various sites. Under its default settings, Uberstaller looks for and uses the uninstaller information already provided by publishers, but it can also determine its own uninstall values. Deleted files (unless really big) end up in the recycle bin, where they can be recovered in case of a big “oops”. A basic file shredder is included, if needed.  Registry keys are easy to find and delete, with direct access to the registry editor and only the applicable keys.
