I came up with "Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection" as a chance to take short mental breaks - 'while glued to my computer' - a paraphrase.

They are all graphical games and may be played in short time intervals.

UK Software Engineer, Simon, did not invent these games; they were free to use / re-invent, or were donated to his cause.

He has provided web links to most individual games through his web page, along with an executable for each - 44 games in all. Therefore, each game may be first tried in a small window.

The website offers links to uncompiled versions for various operating system on GitHub. Other authors have ported the games to small devices, for which he provides links.
